Vegetable Fermenting Workshop

Learn how to make healthy, affordable and delicious lacto-fermented vegetables at home in just a few easy steps.
The workshop includes information about making sauerkraut and other fermented vegetables’ including Kimchi and chutneys. You will also learn about making milk Kefir.
This workshop aims to demystify the process of fermenting vegetables for people who are interested in starting to ferment at home. There will be some information about the health benefits that are attributed to fermented foods as well as some tastings of Whitstable Larder ferments.
This is a hands on workshop and by the end of the workshop you will have a jar of vegetables to take home to ferment that you have prepared. You will also have a worksheet with recipes and methods that you can follow at home to help kick start your own fermenting journey.
